The P10 uses QuickFit elastic headgear with a split-tail strap design. To tighten, narrow the space between the back straps. To loosen, widen the back straps apart. Use the adjustment tab for fine-tuning. The headgear should be snug but not tight.
EPR (Exhalation Pressure Relief) is a comfort feature that reduces therapy pressure during exhalation, making it easier and more natural to breathe out. It is adjustable in three levels on the AirSense 10.
Yes. The AirSense 10 is FAA-approved for in-flight use. A travel bag is included. Remove water from the humidifier before flying and enable Airplane Mode to disable wireless connectivity.
SmartStart may not function correctly with nasal pillow masks at pressure settings of 7 cm H₂O or below. If the feature does not work as expected, it can be toggled off in the machine settings.
ResMed recommends replacing the nasal pillows every 3 to 6 months and the headgear every 6 to 9 months. Replace sooner if you notice visible wear, reduced seal quality, or increased discomfort.
Wash the P10 mask daily in warm water with mild soap. Rinse well and allow all components to air dry away from direct sunlight. Do not use bleach, alcohol, or harsh cleaning chemicals. The headgear should be washed weekly.
Ramp time on the AirSense 10 can be set between 5 and 45 minutes, or the function can be turned off entirely. AutoRamp with sleep onset detection starts therapy at a low pressure and automatically increases once the machine detects you have fallen asleep.
