Test at Home: Before bed, attach the small sensor to your index finger using the included finger wrap. Open the app and tap to start recording. Sleep as you normally would. The sensor is lightweight and comfortable enough to forget it’s there.
Automatic Upload: Each morning, your sleep data is automatically uploaded via Wi-Fi to our secure physician portal. No cables, no manual syncing, nothing to mail back.
View Your Results: After your final night of testing, a board-certified sleep physician reviews your complete multi-night data and checks for signs of obstructive sleep apnea. You’ll receive your finalized report within 2-5 business days.

Our home sleep test uses the ResMed NightOwl, a single small sensor worn on your fingertip that measures peripheral arterial tone, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, and actigraphy (body movement) while you sleep in your own bed.
Unlike basic pulse oximeters that only measure oxygen levels, the NightOwl uses clinically validated peripheral arterial tonometry to directly detect respiratory events, apneas, and hypopneas with 98% accuracy compared to in-lab polysomnography.
Because the NightOwl records up to 10 nights of data, your results capture your true sleep patterns, including night-to-night variability that a single-night test would miss. Multi-night testing significantly reduces the risk of false negatives and gives your physician the most complete picture of your sleep health.
After testing, your data is autoscored by a clinically validated algorithm and then reviewed by a board-certified sleep physician who looks for signs of sleep apnea events including breathing pauses, oxygen desaturations, and arousals.
