The minimalist frame design reduces contact with the cheeks and forehead, helping prevent pressure marks and skin irritation from nightly use.
Included soft wraps made from nylon and Lycra add an extra layer of comfort where the silicone contacts the skin, helping prevent slipping and softening the feel of the headgear. The nylon and spandex backstrap with open-cell polyurethane padding provides a comfortable, breathable fit at the back of the head.
Available in two options: Standard for general use and For Her, which is sized to fit the faces of most women. Both options are compatible with the Swift FX Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask system.
This is a replacement headgear assembly only. The nasal pillows, mask frame, short tube assembly, elbow, and swivel are sold separately.

The For Her headgear is sized slightly smaller to better accommodate the facial dimensions of most women. The Standard headgear is designed for a broader range of head sizes. Both versions use the same silicone elastomer material, adjustment system, and connect to the Swift FX nasal pillow frame in the same way.
The Swift FX Silicone Headgear is designed for use with the ResMed Swift FX Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask and the Swift FX for Her. It is not compatible with the Swift FX Bella (which uses ear loops), the AirFit P10, or nasal pillow masks from other manufacturers.
The replacement headgear assembly includes the silicone headgear frame, soft wraps, backstrap, and top buckle. The nasal pillows, mask frame, short tube, elbow, and swivel are not included and must be purchased separately if needed.
The headgear has two adjustment points. Use the top buckle with notches to set the primary fit by pulling the strap through one notch at a time. Then fine-tune with the low-profile backstrap using the Velcro tabs. The backstrap can be worn over or under the hair. Do not overtighten.
Replace the headgear when you notice signs of stretching, loss of elasticity, visible wear, or when you can no longer achieve a secure fit even after adjusting. A worn headgear can lead to air leaks and reduced therapy effectiveness.
The soft wraps are nylon and Lycra sleeves that slide over the silicone headgear straps where they contact your cheeks. They add comfort and help prevent the silicone from slipping during sleep. While not strictly required, most users find they improve comfort and headgear stability.
Hand wash the headgear by gently rubbing in warm water (approximately 86 degrees F / 30 degrees C) using mild soap. Rinse all components well with drinking quality water and allow them to air dry out of direct sunlight. Do not use bleach, alcohol, or harsh cleaning solutions.
The headgear frame is made from silicone elastomer. The backstrap is made from nylon and spandex with open-cell polyurethane padding. The soft wraps are made from nylon and Lycra. The mask system does not contain PVC, DEHP, phthalates, or natural rubber latex.
The Swift FX Bella mask uses its own exclusive Bella ear loops as its primary headgear. However, the Swift FX Bella Gray and Bella Pink packages do include the traditional Swift FX headgear as an alternate option. If you already own a Bella mask and want to use the traditional wrap-around headgear, the Swift FX Silicone Headgear is compatible with the same nasal pillow frame.
The For Her headgear is sized for smaller facial dimensions and can work for anyone who finds the Standard headgear too loose. If you have a smaller head regardless of gender, the For Her option may provide a more secure fit.
